Why Choose Cambodia Motorbike Adventures Tour?

THE ADVENTURE RIDING TEAM

Po Hay

Po Hay’s name has been associated with adventure since the year 1998, when he discovered routes and temples to the north of Cambodia, which, until then, had been untraveled. Dirt bike tours were his first venture, then jeep, 4WD, camping, and remote tours with difficult logistics, all merging into a tour company, Hidden Cambodia Adventure Tours. His love of motorbikes and the countryside and people of Cambodia fed his desire to show visitors the best of what the country had to offer.

He has spent 20 years creating tours to show Cambodia at its best and most beautiful.

Mr. Rong

Mr. Rong, our lead tour guide, is a whiz of a mechanic and was on the road for years with other tour companies before joining Hidden Cambodia in 2013. He leads dirt bike and small bike tours and knows every inch of the country.

Mr. Slim

Veteran guide Hay “Mr. Slim” Lim, Paul’s brother, has been on the road with us since 2003. 40-years-old and a native of Kampong Cham Province, his nick-name comes from a famous rapper and was given to him by an early guest. (He can indeed sing if given a microphone!)

After spending some time as a monk in Phnom Penh, he traveled around the country and eventually joined the Hidden Cambodia team in Siem Reap. Now a family man and avid netball player, Mr. Slim guides and coordinates all ground transport throughout the country. Always optimistic and forever smiling, Mr. Slim provides invaluable support in all areas of tour operations. A man for all weather and all situations.

Mr. Vanarith

Guide Mr. Vanarith is from Bakong, home to the famed small temple complex just outside of Siem Reap, and studied at the famed Paul Dubrule Hotel training school. For years he worked with EarthWalkers, a rocking Norwegian guesthouse, and, more recently, with an NGO assisting a rural military community gain access to hospitals and clinics. He has an easy, outgoing, friendly nature, a weakness for chess, and a love of the countryside.

Mr. Chow Chow

Mr. Chow Chow works as a driver. He does a lot of smiling and nodding with his gold teeth and also received his nickname from a former client. He’s been on the road with us for seven years and has driven through every nook and cranny of the country. He is highly superstitious and a strong Buddhist.

Ms. Soung

Ms. Soung, a guide in training and a native of Siem Reap, has worked with us for seven years in various positions in the base house and office. A brilliant and resourceful chef, she could cook a meal for four with a leaf of lettuce, in the middle of the jungle, blindfolded, all while keeping our office running smoothly.  She’s been on the road more than a few times, cooking up a storm in many a remote destination.  She loves the ruins and remote temples and she’s great always fun on tour.
