This tour brings you to ancient Beng Melea temple with its hanging ferns, floating butterflies, galleries and few other guests. Magic … just what you expected to find in Cambodia. This was once the hunting lodge of Angkor Wat.

This tour takes you to Phnom Kulen, a sacred, spiritual mountain, located 60kms outside of town. It was here that most of the sandstone for the Angkor temples were quarried.

Koh Ker Temple Complex is 120 kilometres outside of Siem Reap and was the capital of the Cambodian Empire in the 10th century. We have been bringing guests here since 2001. In 2003, we established a base in Koh Ker Village, and in 2008 we built a traditional wooden house on stilts called Koh Ker Jungle Lodge with balconies overlooking the main temple.

Depart on a dirt road to BengMelea temple, located 60 kilometres away. BengMelea is thought to be the prototype for Angkor Wat and is situated on the old Angkorian highway that connects to the great Preah Khan of Kampong Svay. It has over 11 galleries and is filed with hanging ferns and butterflies – just what you imagined you would find in Cambodia!

Travel from Siem Reap to AnlongVeng, located 130 kilometres north of Siem Reap and about 110 kilometres east of PreahVihear temple.  Continue to the Dangrek Escarpment about 16 kilometres from the town of AnglongVeng...

Travel south a short distance to the pretty village of Banteay Chhmar and temple. A number of NGO projects are being carried out in this area and small communities of expats are resident here. It has become a centre for silk production and eco tourism. Banteay Chhmar temple is known as the Temple of the Cat and was constructed in the tenth century. Little is know about the temple and it baffles many as very little water exists in the area.
